SUMMER OUTFITS FOR PETITE WOMEN

Good evening dear readers, how are you? I'm stressed again because of everything I have to do this week. Between work, studies and some personal projects, I feel like there aren't enough hours in the day. But you know, do you remember that I told you about a boy who I found so interesting? Well, so far, everything is going really well with him. He's so sweet, I love his personality and how affectionate he is with me. Seriously, he makes me feel so good, and lately, something's been happening that makes me laugh a little, when I hear certain songs, I automatically think of him. But anyway, before I get too romantic, let's talk about today's post, which is about summer outfits for petite women.

As a petite woman, I know perfectly well that not all trends work the same for us. We often see a gorgeous outfit on Pinterest, and when we try to recreate it, we feel like something just isn't right. That's why one of my favorite rules for dressing in summer is to accentuate the waist whenever possible. Fitted vests, fitted tops, and belted dresses are incredibly helpful in creating a more streamlined silhouette. High waisted garments are also our best friends because they visually lengthen our legs.

One of my favorite summer outfits is pairing straight leg or high waisted jeans with a cream vest. This look is elegant, modern, and very easy to wear every day. I also love tops combined with wide leg jeans or mom jeans, especially if you add gold accessories and pretty sandals. Although many people believe that petite women should avoid wide leg pants, the truth is they can look amazing as long as the pants are the right length and define the waist.

Another gorgeous summer option is high-waisted printed pants paired with crop tops or fitted blouses. Shades of green, beige, white, and brown seem perfect for this season because they look fresh and elegant at the same time. And if you have a special event, a midi dress with a defined waist can be the best choice. I love A line dresses because they create proportion and help to elongate the figure without needing to wear very high heels.

Finally, remember that the secret to dressing well as a petite woman isn't trying to look taller at all costs, but learning to play with proportions. Garments that define the waist, V necklines, high waisted pants, and coordinated colors usually work very well. But above all, wear clothes that make you feel comfortable and confident. In the end, confidence will always be the most beautiful accessory in any outfit.
