HOW TO CREATE A PRODUCTIVE ROUTINE

Hi girls, how are you? I'm telling you that I had fun making the cover for this post. If you didn't know I have a cat, his name is Poofy. He is so cute and sweet. Just when I was making the cover I saw a girl with a cat being productive, and I feel that image describes me 100%. That's how I am almost every day with my kitty, he always accompanies me, he is my faithful friend.

Let me tell you something, I am not very productive, that's why I always have to create a routine. Creating a routine helps me a lot, because I am too lazy. I recommend that you create your own routine, so you can be more creative and not waste time. Remember, you don't leave tomorrow what you can do today.

For those who work from home, it is very important to get used to planning your day. This is more prevalent in this day and age and has worked in my favor. If you have everything organized, it will ensure that your goals and objectives are completed the way you want them to be.

Getting into the habit of planning can take a while, especially for lazy people like me, it costs too much, but it is very enjoyable and even addictive because in the first few weeks you realize that it works, and checklists can become an addiction.

When you don't plan, it's normal that at the end of the day you feel like you haven't done anything, leaving the really important things for later for another day. That really puts me in a bad mood, because it's a wasted day. So by filling every hour of your time with tasks that will help you achieve a goal, you'll notice that your day is actually productive, which means you're getting more done and you're getting better at completing everything you want. This can start with super simple things. I advise you to try it first and you will adapt little by little.

To start planning it is important to change your mindset and understand that every hour of your day will have a purpose. We are not only talking about dreams, but also about simple day-to-day things, like running in the morning or doing the dishes.

Google calendar

A fundamental tool to plan your day is the calendar, so I recommend using Google Calendar because it's great, free and easy to use. I highly recommend it, especially because it's free.

You can organize your google calendar as it suits you best, you can separate it by colors and you get organized much better. For example, I have a calendar for blog posts and another one for housework. I can leave everything marked and see what my complete schedule looks like. Isn't that great?

To keep your calendar from getting cluttered, it's important to put tasks in a general way. Checklists are useful for this, which are small activities that you will do along the way. You can use the "description" field to write your checklists.

Your productive routine starts with habit formation. You get excited about filling your days with your tasks, that's great! But I know this is not for everyone, I have a hard time with it as I told you at the beginning. But you always have to be in good spirits and for it to work you need to get into the habit of always checking your calendar and following what you have planned. You also need to understand that things are not always going to go as planned, so the good thing about Google Calendar is that you can drag some pending task to another date.

A useful tip that I give is that at the end of the day you should always review what has been left undone and try to fit those tasks the next day or at another date that you think is convenient.

For everything to run smoothly it is very important to be very clear on what your priorities are and create your routine around them. Only then will you have a truly effective plan that will help you achieve your goals. You can plan your routine a day before or a week before, I recommend it a week before so you don't get lazy.

I hope this post has been very useful and that it helps you a lot. I wish you all the best and I will keep writing more posts for you.
